A burst supply line, an overflowing tub, or a storm surge under the back door doesn't wait for business hours, and neither do we. We dispatch Nokomis units carrying industrial extraction pumps, air movers, and commercial dehumidifiers already loaded on the truck.
We built our Nokomis branch after hearing the same complaint over and over from Nokomis, IL property owners — the "24/7" number that never actually answers. Every technician on our Nokomis roster is a Hirex Water Damage employee, not a gig-app contractor pulled from a random directory.
Our senior technicians are IICRC-certified and have worked everything from a clean supply-line break to a full sewage backup, so Flood Damage Cleanup in Nokomis isn't a side service we tacked on — it's the reason the company exists. We're fully insured and licensed to work anywhere in Nokomis, IL, so you're protected from the moment our truck pulls into the driveway.
We keep a stocked warehouse inside Nokomis, IL so equipment never has to be trucked in from another region, which is the difference between a 45-minute arrival and a next-day one.
Talk to a Nokomis property manager who's lived through an overnight pipe failure and they'll tell you exactly why a crew that arrives already equipped matters — every extra minute is more water in the framing. That's the gap Hirex Water Damage was built to close, one Nokomis call at a time.
Not every leak announces itself with a flooded floor. A lot of the worst damage we see in Nokomis started small and got ignored for weeks. Here's what tells us a property needs professional attention rather than a mop and a fan:
If you're nodding along to any of these, get ahead of it now rather than later — our Nokomis dispatcher will give you an honest read on urgency, not a sales pitch.
Whether it's one bedroom carpet or an entire flooded commercial floor, our Nokomis crews scale the response to match the loss — nothing gets a cookie-cutter response.
Our Nokomis units run truck-mount extraction pumps that pull thousands of gallons per hour, cutting standing-water time from days to hours. Every extraction job includes moisture mapping so we know exactly which materials are still holding water once the visible flooding is gone.
Our drying plans use moisture meters and thermal imaging to target air movers exactly where hidden moisture is trapped, with daily drying logs so you can see the numbers improving, not just take our word for it.
On the residential side in Nokomis, we handle the flood-cut, subfloor checks, and content pack-out so your home is ready to rebuild, with clear photo documentation at every stage for your insurance claim.
For commercial Nokomis accounts, we assign a project lead, run crews after normal hours to reduce downtime, and bring equipment sized to the actual footprint — we know a flooded lobby or a leaking unit above tenants below has to move fast.
Category 3 blackwater calls for full PPE, antimicrobial treatment, and disposal of anything porous that touched the contamination — our Nokomis crews are trained for exactly that protocol.
Every Nokomis job includes a preventive antimicrobial application, and if we spot conditions that need full remediation we tell you plainly instead of quietly hoping it clears up.
Every Nokomis estimate is written and explained before work begins — no vague "we'll see how it goes" pricing.
Because our equipment cache sits inside Nokomis, IL, most Nokomis calls see a technician on-site in under 60 minutes.
Our paperwork is built to match what adjusters expect, and we'll speak with your insurer directly on your behalf.
If moisture readings aren't where they should be at the end of the job, we come back and keep drying at no extra charge.
Our Nokomis team asks a handful of targeted questions so the truck that shows up already has the right gear loaded.
Our nearest available Nokomis crew is dispatched immediately with truck-mount extraction gear on board.
Extraction happens immediately, followed by a moisture survey that tells us precisely where the drying equipment needs to go.
Daily moisture checks continue until every affected material reads dry, and you get a complete report at the end.
Every Nokomis job gets closed based on instrument readings, not a visual check, and we won't call it finished until the numbers say it's finished. If a callback shows lingering moisture within 30 days of a completed job, we return and correct it at no additional charge.
You'll find that exact commitment printed on your Nokomis paperwork, not just mentioned over the phone. A repeat visit under this guarantee doesn't mean starting over — we pull the original moisture logs and pick up exactly where the last visit left off.
